Founded in 1928, The Berkshire Golf Club is home to two Herbert Fowler designed courses, both of which are widely regarded as amongst the best in the British Isles.
Blue Course Tour
The Blue Course, unusually, starts with a par 3, but it is a magnificent start, and one which instantly confronts the golfer with the skill of Fowler’s design. Click here for a tour of the Blue course.
Red Course Tour
The special quality and character of the Red Course were recognised in its selection at No.85 in the list of The Top 100 Courses In The World, in the June 2010 issue of Golf World Magazine. Click here for a tour of the Red course.
Water on your wedges
Picture the scene: It’s pouring with rain, you’re out on the course, wedge in hand, staring at the pin. Hopefully, you’re dressed for the occasion; wrapped up in your waterproofs and warm layers. But your poor old wedge won’t be.
We can’t control the weather, but we can protect ourselves from it. Unfortunately, it is starting to get colder outside but that doesn’t mean golf has to be put on hold, though, does it? With the right clothes, we can still enjoy the game we love.
