It's coming 

Christmas that is. Sorry, we know it's only October and we're not saying we're going to decorate the shop just yet, but there are some fantastic new releases arriving in store and if you are one of those organised types who gets things sorted early, be sure to check out our pro shop. 

Here's an idea: if you have your heart set on a new driver, or set of irons, perhaps a new crested club sweater… forward this email to that person who has an interest in what's on your Christmas list and you could be on to a winner! 

Talking of winners, there was another victory for one of the game's hottest prospects at the weekend. Following Matt Fitzpatrick's triumph at Woburn, Andy Sullivan cruised to a nine-shot win at the Portugal Masters. You couldn't help but be impressed with the way the 29-year-old went about his business on the final day. Nerves? What nerves.

We had a visit from the Titleist Club Technician this week and he explained to my team how the new AP1 model will offer more distance and control than any of their competitors in that category. Our own Angus MacKay was the first member to give them a try and I must say it looks like Titleist are really onto something with this club!
