Young golfers showing great promise at The Berkshire
Congratulations to Carol Pettman for organising another great event for our young golfers on Sunday. The practice ground was transformed into a very interesting 5-hole course for a one hour period and with a shotgun start much fun was had by all. The golf was followed by a putting competition which was extremely competitive within the age groups, I have listed the well deserving winners below.
Aged 3 - Conor Healy - 41 biffs
Aged 4 - Martin Healy - 33 bifs
Aged 5 - Charlie Wells - 26 biffs
Aged 6 - Seve Nawarski - 15 biffs
Aged 7 - Ella Wells - 16 biffs
Aged 8 - John Cartwright - 14 biffs
Aged 8 - Benedict Campione - 14 biffs
Aged 9 - William Hudson - 13 biffs
Aged 10 - Theo Douglas - 14 biffs
Aged 11 - Zoe Cohen - 18 biffs
Well done to all of the juniors that took part.
We have changed the shop around a bit today to show the new arrivals, winter weather wear from ProQuip (learn more on my website here) and waterproofs from Galvin Green.
Sounds somewhat depressing but we are getting ready for the winter with the Touch of Cashmere knitwear range from Hawick, and for the very technically advanced golfers, we also have layering garments which will allow freedom of movement while keeping the cold out. So no excuses not to play lots of golf this winter! Come and have a look in-store next time you're down the Club.
