Cathy was enjoying the sunshine last week in Spain competing in the WPGA Pro-Am at the Almerimar Golf Club.

Cathy and her team have won this event numerous times but it was Denise Hastings and her team who came out on top in this year's event.

The wait is over

Graeme McDowell ended a near-six-year European Tour drought by battling through a blustery final day at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club to win by two from defending champion Dustin Johnson.

The likes of Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, and Patrick Reed (along with Dustin Johnson) were just some of the star names skipping the PGA Tour’s stop at the Waste Management Phoenix Open (won by Webb Simpson) in favour of the Saudi International, but none could match McDowell’s winning 12-under-par.

The win sees the Northern Irishman move back into the world’s top fifty with one eye firmly on adding to his major tally in 2020.
