A very successful fundraising campaign...

The Regional Fundraising Officer from Alzheimer’s Research UK - Giles Sanderson’s Captain’s charity - Lindsay Gray, visited the Club on Wednesday to present the Club with a certificate for the £9,616.90 raised by our very generous members.

Lindsay passed on the thanks of the delighted charity.

Back in the headlines...

Once again, the debate on slow play reared its ugly head over the weekend.

Edoardo Molinari tweeted a list of all the players who have been put on the clock this year and fined for slow play after playing a five-and-a-half-hour round at the European Tour’s Trophee Hassan II event, making it clear he wasn't happy. But, Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell was quick to dismiss Molinari’s clear frustration, saying he is ‘flogging a dead horse’, claiming players can’t get around any quicker.

But what do you think? Should the pros be leading by example in the hope that play quickens up at club level? Or should Molinari stop worrying about everyone else and focus on his own game?
