As many of you know, I have been tipping Bryson DeChambeau for golfing greatness since watching him play as an amateur in USA Walker Cup team at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club.
His first win in a professional tournament came on Sunday at the DAP Championship in the Web.com Tour Finals. With the win, DeChambeau will earn his 2016-17 Tour card so no doubt we will all get to see more of his remarkable self-taught technique next year.
I'm very pleased to see that Bryson is a great believer in FlightScope technology which is what we use at The Berkshire for swing instruction and club fitting. Bryson has been a long time user of FlightScope and was first introduced to the technology by his coach, Mike Schy of the Mike Schy Golf Performance Institute. The FlightScope team is privileged enough to be given the opportunity to guide Bryson behind the scenes and on various tournament ranges to help him achieve optimal numbers.

Davis Love has now announced three of his picks for the USA Ryder Cup team - Fowler, Kuchar and Holmes. No great surprises, but Rickie must have been relieved to have got the call. Captain Love has one pick left which he will make on the evening of the 25th, only five days before the match starts. There are a few guys still in the mix for this final place, with Bubba Watson being the highest in the world rankings at number seven. Here is how the teams line-up so far:
